On the 7 June 2016, Apex Charitable Trust celebrated 20 years of providing advice & guidance support to offenders across Merseyside, coinciding with National Volunteers Week. Partners, supporters, funders, past staff and volunteers attended the event, celebrations show-casing the charity in the positive journey they have taken over the years, presentations to their volunteers for their achievements in peer mentoring and much more.
On the 9 June 2016, the Trust’s CEO – Kim Hughes and Chair of the Board – Terry Nemko attended The Weston Charity Awards in Birmingham. The Weston Charity Awards celebrates and support excellent charities working in the fields of Youth, Welfare and Community through a year of strategic planning support and unrestricted funding. The Awards are an initiative of the Garfield Weston Foundation and Pilotlight. Apex Trust where the only charity from Merseyside to be selected.
