Women’s Breakout AGM 2016

Our AGM yesterday was a great success with about 60 people attending. Our title this year was ‘Let’s Talk About Good’ and we heard from ten member organisations talking about the great work that they are doing with vulnerable women. It was also brilliant to hear from two services users about their experiences of being in the CJS. Plus we had two visiting speakers, Fiona Jamieson from The Robertson Trust in Scotland and Martin Nugent, the Greater Manchester Lead for Women Offenders in the Public Service Reform Team. There were also lots of updates about what Women’s Breakout has been doing this past year and what we plan to do in the year to come.

Thank you to all those who attended especially those who spoke.

If you were not able to attend or did but would like to share what you heard with your colleagues, then you can find a PDF of the presentation used here.
