Work and Pensions Select Committee Inquiry: Getting ex-offenders into work after prison
The Commons Work and Pensions Committee launched an inquiry into the benefits and employment support available to offenders when they leave prison, to ease the transition into work and a return to normal life and invited evidence to enable it to assess the support available to individuals when they leave prison, and recommend improvements to policy that will help ex-offenders reintegrate into society effectively. Women’s Breakout has submitted a response, and is very grateful to the following projects for their contributions to this: North Wales Womens Centre, Brighter Futures – Chepstow House, Hibiscus Initiatives, Together Women Projects and One25.

Our response can be read here
