Nottingham Women’s Centre aims to offer a safe and supportive environment for women to come together to gain confidence, develop skills, take part in training, get support and organise groups, activities and services. It is run by women, for women and exists to help women to achieve their aims, become stronger and more independent.
CHANGES (Creating Hope Achieving New Goals Experiencing Success) is Nottingham Women’s Centre’s service for women who have offended or are at risk of offending. The project aims to reduce reoffending by offering women new opportunities to make positive changes to their lives. CHANGES offers access to support, provides services to build confidence and self esteem, and helps women to address their challenges in respect of housing concerns, benefits and debts, substance misuse, training, domestic/sexual abuse, counseling, health and wellbeing, and family lives.
